Choose LSports if

you are running a sportsbook and need odds compilation, trading and risk management as a managed service.

LSports is an Israeli sports data company, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Ashkelon, that sells to sportsbook operators: an odds feed alongside TRADE360, its automated odds-compilation and trading platform. SportsGameOdds is a self-serve odds data API with a published rate card. Choose LSports if you are running a sportsbook and want odds compilation, trading and risk handled as a managed service; choose SportsGameOdds if you are building a product on odds data and want public pricing, a permanent free tier and a key in about five minutes.

The two are not really competing for the same buyer, which is the most useful thing to know before you evaluate either.

Bottom line: if you need software that prices and manages a book for you, that is LSports' category and not ours. If you need clean odds data to build on, with a price you can read before you commit, that is ours.

Figures above come from each provider's public pages in October 2026. "Claimed" means a vendor figure we could not independently benchmark; "reported" means a third-party claim we could not confirm with the vendor.

The real difference: a data feed versus a trading platform

Most comparisons in this category argue about bookmaker counts and latency. With LSports that misses the point. Its flagship products are ARENA360 and TRADE360, and TRADE360 is a sports trading platform launched in 2023 as the successor to its STM automated trading system. It compiles odds, monitors line mismatches and moving handicaps, and gives a trading desk the tooling to manage exposure.

That is a different purchase from an odds API. If you are launching a sportsbook and do not have a trading team, buying compilation and risk management as a service is a reasonable decision, and SportsGameOdds does not offer it. We return other books' prices; we do not price your book for you.

The inverse is also true. If you are building an odds comparison site, a +EV or arbitrage tool, a model, a media product or a betting app, the trading platform is overhead you are not going to use, bought through a procurement cycle you do not need to enter.

Is LSports or SportsGameOdds cheaper?

SportsGameOdds publishes every tier: $0 Amateur, $99-149 Rookie, $299-499 Pro, custom All-Star. LSports publishes no price. The only concrete figure we found is a third-party review citing a reseller listing at $180,000 for a 12-month TRADE360 contract, which we cannot confirm with LSports and which covers the trading platform rather than a plain feed.

What we can say with confidence is that the buying process differs. You can know what SportsGameOdds costs in under a minute and be querying real odds the same afternoon. With LSports you contact sales, describe your use case and operational scale, and receive a quote. Industry guidance on sports data pricing, including LSports' own, describes exactly that: pricing negotiated individually against data volume, sport selection, intended use and scale.

For a small team, the procurement cycle is often the larger cost. For an operator with a budget line for data and a legal team to review contracts, it is routine.

Coverage: counts that measure different things

LSports states more than 100 sports, 175,000 pre-match events, 100,000 live matches and 2,500 markets, with its odds service aggregating lines from 100+ bookmakers. SportsGameOdds covers 28+ sports and 67+ leagues across 85+ bookmakers.

On raw sports breadth LSports claims more, and if you need a long tail of minor sports that is a genuine advantage. But a bookmaker count is only comparable once you know which books, on which tier. SportsGameOdds names them: Pinnacle, Circa, Betfair Exchange and Matchbook alongside DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and Bet365, plus prediction markets (Kalshi, Polymarket) and DFS platforms (PrizePicks, Underdog). The full list is on the bookmakers hub, with per-book coverage pages, and Pinnacle, Circa, Fanatics, Bet365 and PrizePicks sit on Pro and above rather than every tier.

Neither provider holds official league-data rights. Both collect from public sources, which is a cost advantage over a licensed incumbent like Sportradar and a limitation if your regulator requires official data.

Live and in-play delivery

Both vendors serve live odds and both offer push rather than polling, so we are not going to claim we are faster. LSports publishes an in-play latency figure of 0 to 1 second; we publish none, and we have not benchmarked either. Worth knowing that its figure is vendor marketing with no independent measurement behind it, while our cadence is checkable against a public rate card. Neither of those is proof of speed. The difference you can actually verify is how you get the data and what comes attached to it.

On SportsGameOdds, /stream/events opens a WebSocket and pushes the eventIDs that changed as they change, on the All-Star plan; every lower tier polls /events at a cadence from 10 minutes on the free tier to sub-minute on Pro. Live and pre-match odds share one schema, so there is no separate live feed to integrate, and the live score arrives on the same event object as the price. The live and in-play odds API page covers the full flow.

On LSports, live delivery is part of an operator feed integration, sized and configured through the sales process. If you need a trading desk fed in real time, that is what it is built for.

Built for developers rather than trading desks

SportsGameOdds ships official SDKs for JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go and Java, plus an MCP server so coding agents can query the API directly while they write against it. Documentation is public and needs no signup to read. One event object returns every covered book's prices across all markets, pre-match and live, with fairOdds and bookOdds consensus, live scores, and per-outcome settlement.

LSports advertises no comparable self-serve SDK or MCP tooling, which is consistent with its buyer: an operator integrating a feed once, with engineering support on both sides, rather than a developer prototyping on a Saturday.

Where LSports leads

Three places, and they are real.

Managed odds compilation and trading. TRADE360 prices and manages a book. We do not do this at any tier, and no amount of odds data substitutes for it if you have no trading team.

Sports breadth. 100+ sports claimed against our 28+. For a long tail of minor sports and competitions, they will cover more.

Operator-grade standing. Founded in 2012, licensed by the Colorado Division of Gaming, with account management and the contractual apparatus a regulated operator's procurement process expects.

Who should choose LSports

Sportsbook operators and platform providers that need odds compilation, trading and risk management as a managed service, or that need the widest possible sports catalogue, and that have the budget and procurement process for a negotiated contract. If your question is "who will price my book", the answer is not an odds API.

Who should choose SportsGameOdds

Developers, startups and product teams building on odds data rather than running a book: odds comparison, +EV and arbitrage tooling, models, media products, betting apps and bet tracking. You get public object pricing from free, a key in about five minutes with no sales call, 85+ books with the sharp lines named, bundled settlement at every tier including free, five SDKs and an MCP server. Browse the leagues and bookmakers hubs to confirm coverage before you start.

Frequently asked questions

How much does LSports cost?
LSports publishes no rate card. Pricing is negotiated per contract against data volume, sport selection, intended use and operational scale, which is also how its own guidance on sports data pricing describes the market. The one concrete figure we found is a third-party review citing a reseller listing at $180,000 for a 12-month TRADE360 contract, which we could not confirm with LSports and which covers the trading platform rather than a plain odds feed. SportsGameOdds publishes every tier: $0 Amateur, $99-149 Rookie, $299-499 Pro, and custom All-Star.
Does LSports have a free tier?
LSports offers a free trial rather than a permanent free plan, and we found no self-serve signup path, so starting means contacting sales. SportsGameOdds has a permanent free Amateur plan: 2,500 objects per month at 10 requests per minute on a 10-minute update cycle, with nine bookmakers and eight leagues, no expiry. A card is required at signup and is never charged on that tier.
What is the difference between LSports and SportsGameOdds?
They sell to different buyers. LSports sells to sportsbook operators: an odds feed alongside TRADE360, its automated odds-compilation and trading platform, bought through a sales process. SportsGameOdds is a self-serve odds data API for developers building products on odds data, with public pricing and a free tier. If you need software to price and manage your own book, that is LSports' category and not ours. If you need other books' prices in clean JSON, that is ours.
Does LSports cover more sports than SportsGameOdds?
On claimed sports breadth, yes. LSports states more than 100 sports, 175,000 pre-match events and 100,000 live matches, against SportsGameOdds at 28+ sports and 67+ leagues. If you need a long tail of minor sports, that is a genuine advantage. On bookmakers the counts are closer and measure different things: LSports claims 100+ on its odds service, SportsGameOdds publishes 85+ and names them, including the sharp lines that matter for EV and arbitrage work.
Which is better for live and in-play odds?
Both serve live odds and both offer push delivery, so neither is obviously faster. SportsGameOdds pushes changed eventIDs over a WebSocket via /stream/events on the All-Star plan, while every lower tier polls at a cadence from 10 minutes on the free plan to sub-minute on Pro, and live and pre-match odds share one schema with the live score on the same event object. On LSports, live delivery is part of an operator feed integration configured through its sales process. The practical difference is how you buy it rather than how fast it is.
Does either provider hold official league-data rights?
No, neither does. Both collect odds from public sources rather than licensed league feeds. That is a cost advantage over a licensed incumbent such as Sportradar, and a limitation if your regulator or commercial agreement requires official data. If official rights are a hard requirement, neither of these is the right vendor.
