BetRivers Odds API

BetRivers is a US sportsbook, and the shape of its coverage is unusual for its size. It prices around 295 markets across 24 leagues, level with Bovada and ahead of Circa — and six European soccer competitions sit above its NHL coverage.

It is not the deepest book on those leagues. DraftKings, BetMGM, Bet365 and FanDuel all price the Premier League more heavily. What is unusual is the comparison set: of the other books in its market-count range — Bovada, Fanatics, Caesars, BetOnline and Circa — only Bovada prices European soccer at anything like this depth.

What BetRivers coverage looks like

Its largest leagues are the ones you would expect — NFL at 108 markets, NBA at 105 and MLB at 88 — but the next tier is the interesting part. Ligue 1 (68), La Liga (66), the Premier League (66), MLS (63), Serie A (60), the Bundesliga (60) and the Champions League (56) all sit above its NHL coverage.

Below those it prices the WNBA at 70 markets, Japanese baseball at 52 and Korean baseball at 50. On the KBO only DraftKings and Bet365 are deeper among the books we have counted.

By type, 125 of its markets are player props, 32 are team props and 26 are game props, and it carries 11 of the 16 main markets. The remaining 101 are period and derivative splits — halves, quarters, innings and regulation-time variants of the main lines. So it is a genuinely mixed book rather than a props specialist or a main-lines-only book.

Where it concentrates

Two categories sit at the top of its board.

Team score markets. Team total points, team first-half and second-half scores, team first-quarter points and the yes/no variants of each are its deepest groups, at four markets apiece. Worth keeping in proportion: that is 32 team props in total, against 182 at DraftKings and 178 at Pinnacle. It is the top of a mid-sized board, not a deep team-prop feed.

Period three-way moneylines. It carries the three-way moneyline on both halves, all four quarters, the first inning, the first three and first five innings, and regulation. Each of those is three markets, one per side, and together they are most of its game-prop count.

On player props it reaches 125 markets, with interceptions, passing-plus-rushing yards and assists among the deepest. What it does not carry is the soccer-specific regulation player props — regulation score, regulation assists, regulation shots on goal — so a soccer prop product will find gaps here even though its soccer main-market coverage is strong.

Which plan includes BetRivers

BetRivers is available on the Rookie plan and above. The free Amateur tier carries nine books and BetRivers is not one of them, so a request filtered to betrivers on the free plan comes back empty rather than erroring. Every book comes back under the same oddID, so comparing them is a lookup rather than a name-matching problem.

What a BetRivers price looks like

The periodID of 1q is what makes this a first-quarter market rather than a full-game one, and statEntityID of home is what makes it a team total rather than a game total. Odds and lines are both strings, so -106 keeps its sign and "28.5" stays a string rather than becoming a float you have to guard against.

Use cases for BetRivers data

For odds comparison, it is a mid-sized book that prices both the American majors and the big five European leagues, so it fills rows on both halves of a comparison table rather than one.

For team-level modelling, team totals are often a cleaner signal than game totals because they isolate one side's scoring, and BetRivers prices the full team score family. If you need team props at volume, DraftKings and Pinnacle carry several times as many.

For arbitrage and +EV scanning, the period three-way moneylines are worth pointing a scanner at. Fewer books price a second-quarter three-way than price a full-game moneyline, and thinner fields are where prices diverge.

Coverage, honestly

BetRivers does not price everything, and no book does. Read byBookmaker on each odd rather than assuming it is there, and treat its absence as normal rather than as an error. The soccer regulation player props are a known gap. The /markets endpoint returns the supported set by league if you would rather check before requesting odds.
