International Soccer Odds API Coverage with SportsGameOdds

A complete guide to international soccer betting market coverage on SportsGameOdds, from international friendlies and qualifiers through to the biggest tournaments on the calendar.

SportsGameOdds Supports International Soccer Odds API Coverage

Club soccer gets most of the attention. But international soccer runs continuously throughout the year, and for developers building betting products it represents a consistent, high-engagement calendar of fixtures that spans every continent.

International friendlies fill the international windows between September and March. World Cup and continental qualifiers run across multiple years. The Nations League cycles through group stages and finals. Copa America, the Africa Cup of Nations, the Asian Cup, the Euros, and the World Cup itself each bring enormous global audiences and betting volume.

SportsGameOdds covers all of it. Every international friendly, every qualifier, every tournament fixture. The same markets, the same bookmaker depth, and the same developer experience whether you are building for a quiet Tuesday night friendly or the World Cup final.

Here is exactly what is covered and what you can build with it.

What International Soccer Fixtures Are Covered?

Coverage applies across all international fixture types, not just major tournaments. That means your product stays relevant and data-rich throughout the entire calendar year.

Tournament / Fixture TypeCovered
International friendliesAll senior international friendly fixtures across the global calendar
World Cup qualifiersCONCACAF, UEFA, CONMEBOL, CAF, AFC, and OFC qualifying fixtures
The World CupAll group stage, knockout, and final fixtures from the tournament itself
UEFA Nations LeagueGroup stage, playoffs, and finals tournament fixtures
Copa AmericaFull tournament coverage including group stage and knockouts
Africa Cup of NationsFull tournament coverage
Asian CupFull tournament coverage
UEFA European ChampionshipFull tournament coverage
Other international tournamentsBroad coverage across international competitions globally

This breadth matters for developers.

A product that only works during major tournaments has a very short shelf life between events. One built on year-round international coverage stays relevant every month. International windows happen roughly every six to eight weeks. There is almost always an international fixture somewhere in the world.

Markets Available for Every International Fixture

The same market structure applies to all international soccer fixtures on SportsGameOdds. Here is a full breakdown of what is available.

Full Game and Regulation Lines

The foundation of any soccer betting product. Every international fixture includes:

  • Full game moneyline (home win / away win)
  • Full game spread (handicap)
  • Full game over/under (total goals)
  • Regulation 3-way moneyline (home / draw / away) across 40+ bookmakers
  • Double chance markets (home+draw, away+draw)
  • Team score over/under for each side individually
  • Team any score yes/no
  • Regulation spread and over/under

Bookmaker depth:

The full game over/under is covered by more than 70 bookmakers. The 3-way regulation moneyline is covered by 40+. That includes bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Pinnacle, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Unibet, Paddy Power, Bovada, Caesars, Betway, and dozens more across US, UK, European, and Australian markets.

For any product that needs consensus lines, best-odds comparisons, or no-vig probability calculations, that bookmaker depth is what makes the numbers meaningful.

Half Markets

Half markets are available for every international fixture, not just major tournament games. This covers:

  • 1st half moneyline, spread, and over/under
  • 1st half 3-way moneyline (home / draw / away)
  • 1st half double chance markets
  • 2nd half moneyline, spread, and over/under
  • Team 1st half and 2nd half score over/under
  • Any 1st half score yes/no

Half markets are covered by a strong bookmaker set including bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, Bovada, Pinnacle, Betway, and more than 20 others. For live products or halftime analysis tools, these are the markets that keep users engaged throughout the match.

Player Props

Player props are available for international fixtures and cover eight distinct market types across outfield players and goalkeepers.

Outfield players:

  • Shots over/under
  • Shots on goal over/under (bet365 and PrizePicks)
  • Shots assisted over/under
  • Passes attempted over/under
  • Tackles over/under
  • Dribbles attempted over/under
  • Clearances over/under

Goalkeepers:

  • Saves over/under (bet365 and PrizePicks)
  • Goals against over/under

International soccer props are a less crowded space than NFL or NBA, which means there is more edge available for bettors and more differentiation available for products that include them. The shots on goal and saves markets via bet365 in particular are quality coverage from a sharp, widely-used bookmaker.

Special Markets

The penalty shootout moneyline is available for knockout stage fixtures across international tournaments, covering which team will win if the match proceeds to a shootout. Available via Pinnacle, this is a uniquely international soccer market that adds real depth to any product covering tournament knockout rounds.

What Can You Build With International Soccer Coverage?

International soccer is not a niche. It is one of the most-watched sports categories in the world, and the betting volume during major international windows and tournaments is substantial. Here are the most natural product use cases.

A Year-Round International Soccer Odds App

With over 70 bookmakers on the full game over/under and 40+ on the 3-way moneyline, you have the data to build a best-odds comparison product that stays relevant every week of the year. International windows produce multiple fixtures per day across confederations. Your product never has a quiet period.

A Qualifiers and Tournament Tracker

World Cup and continental qualifying campaigns run over multiple years and produce hundreds of fixtures. A product that tracks line movement across a qualifying campaign, surfaces value in less-liquid qualifier markets, or helps bettors understand the context of each game (group standings, head-to-head, home advantage) has a long runway and a loyal audience.

WagerLab built a social betting app covering 40+ sports year-round using SportsGameOdds as their data layer. The same infrastructure that powers their Premier League coverage powers their international soccer fixtures. Read their case study.

An EV and Arbitrage Tool for International Fixtures

The 3-way regulation moneyline across 40+ bookmakers gives you a genuine consensus market. Strip the vig, calculate the implied no-vig probabilities, and compare against any individual bookmaker's lines to surface expected value. International fixtures, particularly friendlies and lower-profile qualifiers, often have softer lines than top club soccer matches.

BetBank.ai built their entire EV and arbitrage platform on SportsGameOdds data. The same approach works for international soccer fixtures year-round. Read their case study.

An International Soccer Player Prop Research Tool

Eight prop market types per player, available across all international fixtures. International tournaments are actually one of the most interesting environments for prop research because player roles change, formations shift, and game scripts differ from club football. The market is less efficient and bettors who do the research have a genuine edge.

A tool that combines live prop odds with international tournament context, player form data, and historical international performance is a genuinely differentiated product in a space that is not yet saturated.

DumbMoneyPicks.ai built a prop research platform combining live odds with game-context modelling. The same methodology applies directly to international soccer props. Read their case study.

An AI Assistant for International Soccer Betting

Live odds, player props, half markets, and results data give an AI model the grounding it needs to be genuinely useful during international fixtures. Questions like which team is the market pricing as a heavy favourite, whether a particular qualifier tends to go over or under the total, or how a specific player has performed in international competitions all become answerable when your AI has live market data to work with.

Both BetBank.ai and DumbMoneyPicks.ai are building AI layers on top of their platforms. International soccer, with its year-round calendar and global audience, is one of the most compelling use cases.

A Live Match Product for International Windows

International windows produce intense, concentrated periods of fixture activity. Four or five days of wall-to-wall international games across all confederations. Half markets, live moneylines, and in-play over/unders give you the data for a live product that keeps users engaged from kickoff to the final whistle, across multiple simultaneous games.

Why Year-Round Coverage Matters More Than You Think

A lot of developers think about soccer data in terms of tournaments. Build something for the World Cup. Build something for the Euros. The problem is those windows are short and the gaps between them are long.

International soccer actually has fixtures almost every month of the year:

•        September, October, November: international windows with qualifiers and friendlies across all confederations

•        March: spring international window with friendlies and qualifiers

•        June and July: summer tournaments and the World Cup in a World Cup year

•        January to February: Africa Cup of Nations in AFCON years

•        Asian Cup, Copa America, Gold Cup: rotating tournament calendar with global coverage

A product built on year-round international soccer data is never waiting for the next tournament to be relevant. It compounds over time as you add more fixtures, more historical data, and more user engagement across the full calendar.

That is a fundamentally better product trajectory than one built around a single event.

Covering the World Cup Specifically?

If you are building something specifically for this summer's tournament, the World Cup 2026 coverage guide covers every market, every bookmaker, and every product use case in detail. The same API, the same integration, and the same data quality you get all year round.

One Integration. Every International Fixture.

There is no separate international soccer integration on SportsGameOdds. Every fixture covered here, from a March friendly between two lower-ranked nations to a World Cup final, comes through the same REST endpoints with the same response structure.

Pull upcoming international fixtures, get all available markets and bookmaker lines in a single response, cache what you need, and refresh at whatever rate your product requires. The scores and results endpoint covers the same fixtures for post-game data, bet settlement, and historical tracking.

See the full endpoint documentation at sportsgameodds.com/docs or explore pricing plans to find what fits what you are building.

The free tier gives you real data to build and test against before committing to a plan. Most teams are in production within a couple of weeks.

How to Query International Soccer Events

All international soccer fixtures use the leagueID value INTERNATIONAL_SOCCER in the /v2/events endpoint. Here are the most useful query patterns.

Fetch All International Soccer Events With Odds

The simplest starting point. This returns all upcoming international soccer fixtures where at least some odds are available, including all game lines and player props:

https://api.sportsgameodds.com/v2/events?apiKey=API_KEY_HERE&oddsAvailable=true&leagueID=INTERNATIONAL_SOCCER

This gives you every available market for every live international fixture in a single call.

Fetch Specific Player Props Across All Players

If you only need player props and want to keep response times fast, narrow down to the specific oddIDs you need. This example fetches shots on goal for all players across all international fixtures:

https://api.sportsgameodds.com/v2/events?apiKey=API_KEY_HERE&oddsAvailable=true&leagueID=INTERNATIONAL_SOCCER&oddIDs=shots_onGoal-PLAYER_ID-game-ou-over,shots_onGoal-PLAYER_ID-game-ou-under

The PLAYER_ID placeholder is a special wildcard that returns the market for every available player. Swap it for a specific player ID to get odds for that player only:

https://api.sportsgameodds.com/v2/events?apiKey=API_KEY_HERE&oddsAvailable=true&leagueID=INTERNATIONAL_SOCCER&oddIDs=shots_onGoal-LIONEL_MESSI_1_INTERNATIONAL-game-ou-over,shots_onGoal-LIONEL_MESSI_1_INTERNATIONAL-game-ou-under

How oddIDs Are Structured

Every oddID follows the same format across all sports and leagues:

{statID}-{statEntityID}-{periodID}-{betTypeID}-{sideID}

For example, the shots on goal over market for a specific player in a full game over/under breaks down as: statID = shots_onGoal, statEntityID = the player ID, periodID = game, betTypeID = ou, sideID = over.

The full list of supported markets and their oddID values for international soccer is in the markets documentation.

Tips for Faster Response Times

A few parameters that make a meaningful difference in practice:

•        Always trim your oddIDs list to only the markets you actually need. Requesting the full event payload when you only need moneylines adds unnecessary weight to every call.

•        Add a bookmakerID param to filter to specific books. For example: bookmakerID=bet365,draftkings,pinnacle,prizepicks. Fewer books means faster responses and smaller payloads.

•        Use includeOpposingOdds=true so you only need to list the over sideID and the under is returned automatically. Halves the length of your oddIDs list.

•        Add includeAltLines=true only when you specifically need alt lines. It increases response size and slows things down so leave it off by default.

Full reference documentation for the /v2/events endpoint including all available parameters is at sportsgameodds.com/docs/reference.
